Honda Body Shop and Frame Shop

Originally contracted to erect the paint shop at the new 1.7 million-square foot plant, subsequent contracts expanded NSC's involvement to include the frame shop and administration building, bringing the size of the project to more than 12,000 tons.

NSC's job was to be flexible and accommodate these changes without sacrificing quality, schedule or budget. NSC's extensive automotive experience translates into an understanding of the value engineering and erection process and laying out the best sequencing to ensure smooth project completion.

This extensive experience was the main reason Honda Manufacturing of Alabama and their construction manager, Harber, Hanscomb and Global Performance Joint Venture (HHG), a joint venture, chose NSC for this project.
